Realistic Metal Sculptures.

About me.

I began my welding career at 16 years old, working in a pipe fabrication shop in my hometown in Alberta. I completed my training in 2017 at Red Deer College and obtained my Journeymen Red Seal Welding certificate. I worked as a Journeyman structural welder on various pipeline stations throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan and picked up many skills along the way which I apply to my metal artwork.

When I had my first baby, I had trouble finding work that was in town and had reasonable hours to accommodate a family life. Being out of town wasn’t an option but I knew I didn’t want to give up welding. As a result, I went on to start my own business, “Metal Monkey Design Co.” and began selling things I welded. Everything from metal furniture to artwork. After the first few sculptures came together, I knew I had found my true passion.

My artistic skills are completely self taught. I weld, grind and cut the steel to create texture and bring the metal to life.

Welding, and creating metal sculpture is truly my passion. I love being able to take a piece of steel and turn it into something beautiful. It never gets old watching your vision come to life! I am beyond blessed to be living out my dream-combining my love for welding with my passion to create.
